Resumen
The Editors-in-Chief have retracted this article because of concerns regarding the validity of the research reported in this work. A review conducted by the journal found that the reported average crystalline size for silver nanoparticles (NPs) as determined by an analysis of the XRD intensity peaks (Fig. 3) is not consistent with the average size determined by TEM imaging (Fig. 4a), and that the former analysis was not adequately reported in the article. Furthermore, there is lack of agreement between the TEM result shown in Fig. 4 and the size distribution of NPs presented in the inset. The authors were asked to comment on these concerns, but their explanation was deemed unsatisfactory. The Editors-in-Chief no longer have confidence in the research presented in this article. The authors disagree with this retraction.
