Resumen
In this intervention, I want to highlight the connections, relationships, influences and challenges of three theoretical and methodological approaches: postcolonial thinking, qualitative inquiry and creative subversion. My invitation is to think on civil resistance as a poetics of rage that must be integrated to our political and methodological efforts as qualitative researchers. So, qualitative inquiry would have the chance to lead some transformative process to change our societies trapped and anguished today in very violent times. Doing that, I explore the contribution of qualitative inquiry in conjunction with creative subversion for a new way to produce knowledge. Epistemological and theoretical recognition of the cruel political violence and the terror generated by the governors around the world works as a clue. Otherwise it would be impossible make sense of our interventions as scientists or activists to transform our human circumstances.
