Portal de ranking de universidades iberoamericanas: Una propuesta para facilitar procesos decisionales

The generation of university ranking lists is a practice of over 20 years. Its importance is rooted on being a useful element for different groups of interests’ decision making. Knowing the performance of these institutions constitutes itself transparency praxis over its management; however, the inconvenient is based on the multiple rankings that have emerged, which in many cases generate confusion given the large number of available data. Thus the importance of this paper, who’s main objective is to propose a tool that gathers in one web page the most prominent university rankings worldwide, aiming to facilitate the decision making process of the interested parties to obtain any service from Ibero-american universities. It is field study with a focus on observation, particularly, in-structured observation.
