Resumen

Poly(tetrahalo-p-phenylenemonoselenide)s and poly(tetrahalo-p-phenylenediselenide)s were synthesized from hexachlorobenzene and hexabromobenzene. They correspond to semiconducting materials when doped with I₂ and SbF₅. The polymers were characterized by elemental analysis and infra-red spectroscopy, and conductivity measurements were also carried out.
