Resumen

The concept of healthy organizations (HO) has had several meanings being defined as an entity that goes beyond the simple fulfillment of goals. This is because it seeks to develop healthy environments, both for its workers and its clients, in a positive working atmosphere that generates cultures, processes, and practices that provide sustainability over time, especially in periods of change and crisis. In this context, this research aims to conduct a bibliometric study, focusing on works on HO, identified as a key factor in organizational success. For this purpose, a database with 137 articles published in indexed journals of the Web of Science (WoS) platform from 1962 to 2020, was found and analyzed. Performance analysis techniques were applied to determine the evolution of the number of publications, the most productive authors, the most relevant scientific journals, and the approaches and topics researched. Based on this analysis, the main lines of work in the area researched are highlighted, the majority being those focused on the organization as a whole, which generates a management model for the development of people. It is possible to conclude from the various research studies analyzed that Healthy Organizations are better prepared to face changes and negative events in the environment. This study provides a useful framework of information for approaching the concept.
