Resumen

A university's institutional image can be influenced by various internal organizational factors. Understanding how these elements influence is crucial to optimizing the perception and reputation of universities, especially in a highly competitive context. In this regard, this research aims to analyze the impact of transformational leadership, organizational culture, and organizational learning on institutional image in a group of higher education institutions. This exploratory study was based on a survey of 320 students from the Faculties of Engineering and Education at four universities located in northern Chile. Using multiple linear regression models, the results revealed that both culture and organizational learning exert a significant influence on institutional image. It is concluded that universities should prioritize building and strengthening their image, considering culture and organizational learning as strategic pillars of their management.
