Resumen
The Aymara communities of northern Chile since historical times have identified in the ancestral territory a common cause for their demands. This paradigm will be received through legal instruments that associate territory and natural resources as key elements for respecting their cultural identity. This article analyzes the response of the current legal structure, exhibiting the case of the Aymara community of Chusmiza - Usmagama as resistance raised from the language of imposed formality.
