Resumen
This study aims to identify the relationship between job descriptions and the staff ’s work performance. For this purpose, the study was applied in the D’Moda company in Tacna, Peru. The methodology was pure, non-experimental, quantitative, and correlational. A survey was applied to a population of 26 employees. The results of the research had a confidence level of 95%, demonstrated by the Rho-Spearman test in which the job description was significantly related (Rho = 0.711) to job performance. Therefore, according to the range of relationships, there is a strong positive correlation, assuring that performance improvements could be obtained through the optimal management of positions as long as their functions have been accurately and adequately outlined.
