Resumen
Based on the circulating photo-reports in the illustrated Chilean weekly Sucesos and ZigZag during the first decades of the 20th century, the process in which identity differences were established between the Peruvian, Bolivian and Chilean neighborhoods after the Pacific War is analyzed, with special emphasis on the opposition of Chilean virtuous national narratives and discourses, with a negative discursive plot regarding Peru and Bolivia; its culture, past and population.
