Resumen
When analyzing the publication level of Chilean public universities in indexed scientific journals, these generally do not present outstanding performances, despite that within most of them, academics carry out investigative assignments. On this notion, this paper has as main objective to, describe the implemented strategies in a Chilean state university, that tend to increase in a gradual properly planned way, the publications of articles in scientific journals within the ambit of undergraduate teaching. Methodologically speaking, it is a case study, that collects diverse background records -qualitative and quantitative- in relation to planning, design y putting into service the investigation centers.
