Estado del arte sobre inserción de niños y niñas migrantes en el sistema escolar chileno

The article aims to make a state of the art focused on the research carried out in Chile regarding the situation of migrant children in the school system. Through the review of academic publications, the article analyze how this research field is configured, what questions are being posed by the researchers, what concepts and categories are used and what problems are relieved and pointed out. The search was concentrated between 2005 and 2017. Two types of texts were selected, on the one hand, those of a scientific nature (articles and book chapters) specific to migration and education focused on the national context-32 texts in total-, and another, official documents emanating from the Ministry of Education related to migration and school education (regulations, technical recommendations) and guidelines for inclusive education in migratory contexts.
