abstract = "At present, air quality is a subject of worldwide studies, for this reason the design and implementation of an environmental monitoring and alert system is proposed, which collects information from the area in charge automatically and distributes it to a system which is responsible for carrying out the storage of the information, as well as activating alerts if necessary. The data capture nodes communicate through the ZigBee wireless network allowing information to flow to the MQTT server brokers, where the Application receives this information and data can be captured from the sensors that are on the nodes and study the scenario under control. For system calibration, system tests are performed comparing it with a manual air quality prediction application.",
