Resumen
Inclusion of people at work is a phenomenon that has surged within the past years. Around it a political and regulatory framework has been developed worldwide to which organizations have to respond and adapt. This research work aims at presenting the design, construction and validation of an instrument which will make it possible to measure the inclusive culture of organizations as set forth by Labor Inclusion Law 21015 in Chile. In view of the above, it is presented to construct an instrument for companies to assess, based on their collaborators’ opinions, the organization’s reality, the aspects to be improved and the situations that should remain. The methodology used in this work is of a quantitative nature, and a public state university in Chile was taken as a reference to assess the reliability of the instrument when applied to their workers in order to make well-argued decisions therefrom. It is concluded that the instrument used is reliable and valid from the analyses conducted. Although the said instrument was validated for the specific case of a public state university, it is considered that the same may be applied in any educational institution in Chile.
