Resumen

The study aims to analyze the criminalization of the queer community, a study compared to Latin American mink, in this case in Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile and Argentina, in order to identify the reality that the LGBTT+ population is experiencing in terms of the situation of recognition before society, protection of their rights, regulations, laws, identity, marriage, among other legal aspects. It was developed according to the type of documentary descriptive study, with hermeneutic analysis with which a result is propitiated about the subject studied. The results indicate that despite the fact that in the countries studied when the comparison was established, the criminalization of the queer community does not exist or has been abolished, it is observed that the established laws lack mechanisms that allow implementing real and effective strategies to avoid discrimination and inequality in this population to assert their rights, experiencing disapproval, criticism, and rejection.
