Resumen
Nowadays three different generations of workers coexist in the workplace. In some organizations the generational differences generate conflict instead of synergy given the differences in interests, motivations and ways to contribute that each generational group provides to the company. The current generation that is entering the job market (around 10% in Chile) is the Y generation, also known as Millennials. The objective of the investigation is to characterize the Millennial professionals under an intellectual capital perspective. In other words, to describe the relationships between human, relational, development and renovation resources and their impact on employability, satisfaction and salary of these professionals in the region of Arica and Parinacota, Chile. The purpose is to contribute towards the acknowledgement of their valuation and thus the design and implementation of policies with impact. The relationship network that will characterize Millennial professionals was elaborated with multivariable statistical analysis, in particular by the use of structural equations.
