Resumen
The objective of the work is to characterize the policy of quality assurance of virtual education in Chile. The methodology used is documentary literature review specialized in the subject and normative. The results reveal that the new legislity in force has promoted improvement actions at all levels of the higher education subsystem, safeguarding the quality processes of the training of people and has also regulated the relevant agencies to conduct their audit under the It is concluded that at the present times it is not yet possible to give a balance of this experience that is incipient.
