Abstract

The Basic Education Pedagogy program at the University of Tarapacá has assumed a leading role in connecting and extending its training processes to the community at large. The proposal, focused on continuing education and cross-border academic integration activities, highlights the systematization and analysis of the impact of pedagogical interventions developed from the university classroom to the classrooms of the school system, based on a reflection on the contribution of pedagogical intervention work to the development of the role and identity profile of preservice teachers, as stated in the training plan. In turn, it is based on the implementation of a two-way strategic approach that incorporates the participation of university stakeholders and interest groups relevant to regional and national development in Chile.
