Abstract
Verbal narratives of the Andean people are usually collected in books, a format in which they often lose the context in which they are collected and the variety of voices that recount them. In the following paper, a review is made of the context of Andean orality, its relationship with the school, and some guidelines to consider for working the verbal narrative in education establishments in northern Chile are analyzed from an intercultural approach.
