Abstract
The search for the development for a potential novel anti-inflammatory agents remains a major challenge. The present invention offers the in vivo anti-inflammatory activity, spectrophotometric analysis, and molecular characterization of ethanolic crude extracts of Punica granatum peel extract in uncontrolled diabetics wearing removable dentures. The in vivo anti-inflammatory activity was perfomed comparing Punica granatum peel extract mouth wash and Woodfordia leaf mouth wash, and the one having superior activity was further subjected to spectrophotometric analysis.
