Abstract

It is argued that the introduction of random corrections in the kicked rotator problem could produce a diffusive regime in momentum space and breaks dynamical localization. The diffusion coefficient is evaluated and becomes linked to correlation in the random potential. Short-range correlation and slow spatial variations at the external deterministic potential, with respect to the correlation length, are assumed.
