The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering is an academic unit comprised of a multidisciplinary team of professionals and administrators. Their aim, through quality processes and knowledge transfer, is to educate industrial engineers capable of successfully facing organizational challenges.
The fundamental purpose of this academic unit is to continuously generate, develop, apply, and disseminate knowledge related to the industrial field and the community at large. This is achieved through teaching, outreach, and applied research activities, driven by innovation, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
