The Department of Historical and Geographical Sciences at the University of Tarapacá [DECIHG] has a tradition of over 40 years in training teachers in the specialties of History and Geography. Throughout its trajectory, it has been involved in research areas related to the study, reflection, understanding, and dissemination of human complexity in the Andean region of northern Chile.
